The Wild Collective
13th - 29th May 2022
The Wild Collective is a collaborative exhibition nurturing creative responses to nature.
A collaboration between garden, exhibition space and sustainable food project Omved Gardens, specialist craft gallery Thrown and floral artist Alice McCabe, the collective has been bought together by each and all of these distinctive viewpoints on connections with the world around us.
After welcoming submissions by artists, makers and creatives, the collective has been formed from the results of an open call as well as a curated programme of events.
Curated for the Chelsea Fringe 2022, the exhibition runs from 13th - 29th May 2022 in the glasshouse and gardens of Omved Gardens, Highgate.
Join us everyday except Mondays at Omved Gardens for the exhibition. Find out more about visiting information.
For those unable to visit, and to add to the experience for those who can, we have created an online catalogue listing the works available. View the online catalogue.

OMVED: LEARNING FROM EVERYTHING
In this spirit, we facilitate exhibitions, workshops, concerts, dinners and discussions, creating collaborations around the topics of food, creativity and ecological transformation. We seek to nurture, create and contemplate.
OmVed is an urban greenscape nestled behind Highgate High Street. Until recently, a wounded and tarmacked wasteland, it is being transformed into a diverse eco habitat with a wildflower meadow, an orchard and a vegetable garden. Through collaboration with artists, architects, chefs, musicians and horticulturalists we are exploring the nature of the relationship between people and our connection to the environment.
METAFLEUR
We are a London based floral design studio creating immersive large-scale sustainable floral installations and living landscapes for events and films, alongside dried floral art and botanical sculptures for exhibitions.
THROWN
Thrown was established in March 2018 in response to the current uprising of ceramics within contemporary art. Fascinated by this age of alternative mediums, the gallery seeks out distinctive contemporary art in its many forms with a particular focus on the creativity currently turning to clay. The gallery represents internationally acclaimed names alongside emerging talent, providing a much-needed platform for makers finding their identity as artists.
Originally launched in a gallery space in Highgate, North London, in 2021 the gallery moved out of this fixed physical space to focus on online & pop-up exhibitions.
